Wah Sun Chinese Restaurant in Chesterland

I got really bad food poisoning after eating their food. I ended up in emergency room.

Service was absolutely terrible. Food was good, but not great.

Average Chinese food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit dismal. Very dimly lit, I initially thought they were closed.

This place has been around for 40 years. My dad used to take me here when I was just a little kid. It's exactly the same now as it was back then. Very quaint small little restaurant. Most importantly, the food is still great. It's a family-run business, they're very nice, and it's good food.

I give it 4 stars for a few reasons. 1- the food has always been good there. I know they use a microwave, but it's never been rubbery. The taste has always been great. 2-the staff is always prompt and courteous. It appears to be a family run business with the children helping bus and wait on customers after school hours. 3- I'm a huge fan of entrepreneurship. I can tell this family works hard at what they do. I could whine about the building and furniture not being a little more current, but I think it just adds to the quaintness of this restaurant. It's small, they aren't financially strapping themselves down with a huge store front with only a handful of customers. They always seem busy. I appreciate the feel if the place. 4-I appreciate the music played and it's in a handy location for us.

Wah Sun is great. They are a staple of Chesterland. Their food has only gotten better over the years. Try the crispy ginger chicken. It is so good that it is even better the following day!

Ive had at least four other chinese restaurants in the chesterland/mayfield hts area and let me say this is by far the best quality food and best prices. Our new favorite restaurant by far!

First time trying this hidden gem. Grabbed take-out and was more than pleasantly surprised. The General's chicken was hand breaded pieces of white meat chicken in a spicy sauce. This isn't short cut food frozen from a bag. The beef mei fun was out standing with a perfect balance of noodles, beef, and veggies. The service was fast and the prices fair. Can't wait to try some other items.

Inside is dirty and smelled awful. Food was edible but not very good almost over cooked. Staff was polite tho

Meat not so good

The food is delicious and the resteraunt was decorated nicely as well as polite wait staff. The Tea was Oolong and very good. Worth the drive to Chesterland from Mayfield Heights and Eastlake. Definitely going to come back for more.

Not that great. Order shrimp fried rice it was plain it had no egg or any type of vegetables in it Plus one piece of shrimp in the egg roll
